Lost Roads was founded in Arkansas in 1976 by poet Frank Stanford.  C.D. Wright assumed the editorship in 1978 and co-edited the press with Forrest Gander for many years. Poet Susan Scarlata is now Lost Roads’ Editor and Publisher.
